To Small Ice maker is crap!!

The ice maker doesn't work 3/4 of the time and when it does it doesn't make cubes it makes slabs and then the dispenser is unable to break the ice apart. Then it leaks through the hole and gets all over the floor. Big disappointment

My ice maker stopped working last year and when I called a Maytag certified repairman to fix, he said it would be about $400 since it needed 2 parts costing about $200. I never got it fixed, way too much money. Don't know why the parts are so expensive!

The fridge is over a month old and my wife hates it. The ice machine is terrible, with ice all over the floor. You have to be real cautious . The ice machine is also slow replacing ice. Inside the fridge has limited space. Vegetables also freeze in the veggie bin.

Wine bottles can't stand up. They are to tall, and the cover won't close. I miss the storage in the door. Use to have jams and sauces in the door. I miss the small areas. However I am very happy with the ice and water dispenser. The light from the dispensing area is perfect at night. Can get water without turning on another light

We have had this fridge approx. 7 months now. Love the water on the outside, along with the ice. The ice refresh time is reasonable. Freezer drawers slide easily. The top main shelf in the fridge feels a bit restricted due to the ice maker. The crisper drawer gets caught on humidity tab, often.

I love the spacious freezer on the bottom, ice cubes and cold water on demand too. It also has a cool feature to tell you what the temperature is in the fridge & freezer 24/7.

Purchased in Spring 2023 - not happy with the produce drawers and the lever to adjust for fruits and veggies. Drawers seems cheap and often get stuck on the lever when trying to push them in. Water and ice dispenser leaks water constantly and the ice maker takes up a lot of room in the frigde.

My experience so far has been awful with this fridge. Six months after owning the fridge I had to call the repair people that I bought the fridge from to fix the icemaker they fixed it charged me $160. Two months later it broke again. They told me that it needs a whole new icemaker. The fridge wasn™€™t even a year old and now I have a broken icemaker. They said it would be $300 to get a brand new one I haven™€™t fixed it yet because I think it™€™s ridiculous that the fridge wasn™€™t even a year old And things are breaking on it. So I™€™ve been without ice for a little over a year. I really thought Maytag was a very good brand but after this, I don™€™t think I will ever buy a Maytag again.

Door light switch on right side of refrigerator failed, so we have no light inside the fridge when we open the right door. Freezer drawer handles are secured by a chintzy setscrew arrangement, so they are constantly loose and in need of tightening. Crisper drawers slide very poorly. Cannot compare to my LG and Samsung appliances. Last Maytag I will buy.

I have needed 2 repairs! When I called the help line I was told to try many troubleshooting things first and if they came out and it was one of the things I was told to check I would be charged even through this was a brand new fridge! The second service man was very nice!

I wish I had bought a different refrigerator. One with the icemaker in the door bc it takes u way too much space. Plus even though it™€™s not in the door there still isn™€™t much door storage bc it has to go thru the door. The seal between the 2 doors is always moldy bc there is so much moisture. The plastic piece that separates the drawers is already broken. I have never had that happen in all the years and refrigerators I have owned. I would not purchase this product again.

I loved my refrigerator and everything about it...I purposely wanted a refrigerator with an icemaker because I had been using a portable ice maker for years. Just as my warranty came full circle the ice maker quit working and the serviceman can not find out what is going on..he has replaced the entire ice maker and nothing is working. Who will help me after 12 months a nice expensive refrigerator and the ice maker dosent work. Please do something..

Overall we are pleased with this refrigerator, but the crisper drawers do not glide in and out easily and sometimes the ice maker will dump ice out on the floor or clog up. Shelves are easy to arrange to get desired height.

The freezer is extremely frustrating! Sliding drawers are a good idea, just not for this freezer. Always refiguring when adding so that it will close!! The possible configuration of the main compartment is very limited. Would return this refrigerator if I could.

8 months ago I had sent a 1 star review due to the refusal of service from a local authorized service dealer that Maytag had scheduled with . I say 1000 thank you's to Maytag for coming through and making it right. Maytag stepped up and went the extra distance!! Maytag made a deal with the service dealer. They came on site and was able to fix the problem. The fridge is working just fine now.

Great fridge, small Ice Cubes

I had a 1 year earlier (full size) identical fridge before I moved. That fridge had a loud ice maker, but this one (a 33™€ inch model) is not so loud. BUT - the ice cubes are so darn small. So small that they are melted far before I finish an ™€œon the rocks » drink. The plumbing is brand new, I changed the water filter and nothing has corrected this, also they are cloudy, no matter what they are not clear.
