Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Lasts only 5 1/2 years

Nana on the Lake 2/27/2026

This fridge was purchased at The Home Depot in the fall of 2019. Worked fine until December 2025 and it began to freeze items in the fridge. After having a repair person come 3 times, it was determined that the coils were no longer working properly which created a build up of frost behind the freezer wall. To repair this would cost almost $1,000 for a fridge that originally was $599 on sale. I have no choice but to buy a brand new fridge and junk this one. I am beyond disappointed with Maytag. It's not the company it used to be.

Factory wrapping needs improvement

Rampfam 11/14/2025

Happy with the purchase, but all the corners on fridge and freezer doors were damaged. I had to remove the doors myself and bring them back to the place of purchase and bring the doors of the display model home and install them. The doors™™ corners were damaged when factory wrapping was removed. Wrapping from factory needs protection for corners.

Jacks Honest Opinion 11/3/2025

This refrigerator is a replacement for one that decided to take leave of its mind and quit working. I have always had good luck with the Maytag/whirlpool brand appliances. However, I was disappointed that whirlpool did not honor the extended warranty I had on the fridge that quit working. I hope to have better luck with this one and hope for many years of use from this appliance.

JCD17 9/28/2025

Bought this for our cottage at the lake. Very good basic fridge, operates smoothly and is quiet. The shelf spacing is a little odd and is difficult to store 20 oz soda bottles other than on the door. Freezer is excellent and we love the light inside the freezer. Overall a good basic unit for the money.

Enjoying new refrigerator

CornellKate 9/26/2025

I took delivery of my new refrigerator on 9/18 so I've had it just over a week. I am curious to see in a few power billing cycles if this refrigerator's efficiency will lower my electric bill. My last refrigerator was from the early '80's and the gaskets didn't press tightly to the body of the unit and I am sure the motor ran more than it should have. Things I like; the freezer has a light in it, the fridge was able to easily hold everything from the last fridge, the door shelving is nicely organized, the door shelves have strong brace/bar to hold the items, the fridge shelves are see-through; the shelves go completely from one side to the other (last fridge had shelves that were half the width and could be height adjusted independently of each other); the motor is very quiet; the crisper trays are see though and I don't have to open them to determine what is in the tray; doors are reversible, refrigerator has rollers/wheels so I can pull away from it's location and clean. Things I don't like; the top fridge shelf bows in the center if heavy items are placed at that point, the shelf braces that are part of the fridge body are small/narrow making me concerned that if the shelf shifted too far to one side that it would fall, the plastic used for the crisper trays and the vegetable tray is thin, when I filled the vegetable tray that is attached to the underside of the second/middle shelf, it bowed from the weight of blocks of cheese and fell off the side tracks and crashed onto the bottom shelf (nothing suffered damage; I put it back on its tracks and put lighter items in the drawer/tray); the body of the fridge is low and even at 5'2" I have to bend over to view food items. Overall, I am liking how I was able to better organize food stuffs and am able to see the items all the way to the back wall of the fridge. I like that I can see items on the middle shelf by looking through the top shelf. I purchased small pull out trays so that I can organize items even more. I hope this refrigerator will last as long as the old one I had (Kenmore Coldspot). So far, I am pleased with this product.

Totally Cool!

Nevada 9/23/2025

When I was a kid, my parents took me to the Ice-Capades. When they asked if I liked the show, I told them it was the coolest entertainment I could ever imagine. But that wasn't what I was thinking. I was just thinking how much I'd like one day to own a Maytag refrigerator of my own. And now, so much later in life, I have realized my dream. This Maytag appliance is, for me, the ideal. Its clean, sleek design appeals to me-- those recessed handles! The glass shelves look bright and fresh, and the clear plastic vegetable bins allow me to recognize the condition of produce at a glance. I also like the pull out drawer-- so many food items wait right at my fingertips. And... there's more! Yes, I'm talking about a light in the freezer. (Doesn't this sound like a Shel Silverstein collection: "A Light in the Freezer"?). OK-- so who needs a light in the freezer? But I love it! Every time I open the door, I am dazzled by a bin full of sparkling ice cubes. The size of this refrigerator is also just ideal for a single person home or a small to modest sized apartment. Who needs the Ice-Capades? I've got my very own holiday on Ice!
