Cook top grates extend to edge of stove, which is a hazard for burns due to grates getting hot while cooking. If a child or adult grabs the top of stove after cooking, their hand or arm could sustain a burn.

The first two came damaged with chips. The oven of the 3rd one did NOT work correctly so a workman had to come out. He found the computer of the system had never been turned on. We are waiting to see if that solves the problem. Repairman was great so my hopes are high. The issues have covered months of waiting for new machines.

I love the control panel and burner grates (as opposed to the old gird for each burner), as well as the different burners for specific cooking/simmering/warmer needs. I notice the oven racks do not have many crossbars and appear less sturdy than my previous range, but that doesn't affect the overall performance.

If I didn't have to have the color bisque/beige I would return it! I HATE it! The metal is thin, the grates are too heavy & to remove one you have to remove 2 because they lock together! The knobs to turn the gas on are dangerous! This is the WORST stove by design, material,craftsmanship I've ever had or used & I'm in my 60's & cook & bake daily! I just made chili & didn't enjoy 1 second of that piece of junk!

I bought this gas range and the first one that came was all dented. Did not accept it and a second one came the next week. After 44 days that gas range got an error and the oven would not preheat. Unfortunately, this occurred a few days before Christmas. Whirlpool could not send a service person until after Christmas and their website stated an incorrect date available, so it was a few days after that. When the service person came out, they did not have the part (the board) and the warehouse did not either. A few more days later I got a call they had no idea when the part would be in. Since I did just purchase it the sales associate from my appliance store was able to get in touch with Whirlpool to move it along quicker and finally after about 19 days the gas range is working again. It has only been a few days since repaired. By the way Whirlpool makes pretty much all the other brands under different names. I needed this color and well if I went with another it pretty much was a Whirlpool anyway. I would have expected better after an almost $1000 appliance but that did not matter. Also, the person from Whirlpool said the site for appointments does not work right, I told them add that to your list to have corrected and they need to work on their customer service.

Ian not happy with the single grate over the burners. They are not too heavy and cumbersome. I have to take it out plus the center one to clean a little spill . I previously had 4single grates and they were more consumer friendly. The center burner is useless, would not be able to have pan on other burners because the space is too narrow. Oh most important , the burners and the placement of a pan on the grate do not line up, the pans are always off center to the flame.

I bought my stove 3 weeks ago and so far I am very happy with it. The only thing I am disappointed in is that there are no instructions on how to actually use some of the functions. I've gone online and have found nothing so I'm learning by doing but I prefer instructions. However, I would definately recommend purchasing this product. It is eye appealing, easy to clean.

I bought this range about 2 months ago. Really wanted the bisque color so I ordered the Whirlpool. Waited a few months for delivery. Like the range only problem was when it was installed the delivery person started the stove before I used it as he said was customary. The warming drawer didn™€™t close correctly and he said someone would come out to fix it. The inside back of oven shelf was bent. Again someone would come to fix it. Still waiting! Called store because I wasn™€™t sure how to use the oven. Store couldn™€™t help me!

This is the worst stove I have ever owned.I can not believe Whirlpool put this piece of garbage on the market.Out of five burners none of them go low enough to simmer food,and only one will actually go to low,the rest of the burners are only good if you need an extremely high heat for something like boiling water..The heavy grates are a total pain to remove and replace even though you have to remove them to clean your stove top.I am so,so sorry I ever wasted my money on this garbage and will never purchase another Whirlpool product again.When I confronted Whirlpool about my issues they told me to call out a serviceman,paid for by me of course.Don't waste your money on this crap.

Front Burners are way too hot

The range is very appealing in looks. The functionality is fine. Everything works. Only thing I don™€™t like is the front burners are too hot to cook on. Even on low it™€™s too hot to cook bacon or burgers. It burns food up, and grease pops everywhere. Would be Ok for giant pots to boil.

Top grate above burners very heavy and has to constantly be dismantled to clean the stove top! Hard to balance pots on the grate, constantly trying to keep from spilling contents in the pots, when pots/pans are hot becomes dangerous! Clock is constantly losing time. We work hard to shop locally and our local appliance dealer ordered this when our previous range could not be repaired. Therefore, I did not see the range until it was delivered. There are many positives on this range. It is very sleek and the top design has a better "lip" that keeps spills from running over the stove top. I was surprised to see the oval burner and see many times this will come in handy, especially, as intended, using a griddle and when using oval shaped roasters. One small thing I do not like is the small, blue clock. It is very hard to read. The main reason this has a four instead of a five is the arrangement of the burners. The two front burners are large, back left burner is medium, and back right burner is small for simmering. Often this means I am reaching over a larger pan to attend to a smaller pan. If not for that, my rating would be a five.

This is my dream range. I believe I got the last one is bisque thanks the whirpool representative. Disadvantages: Thin flimsy bottom drawer, which I don't use anyway. Thinner than expected oven racks. Have to clean the top often, waiting on a stove guard. Due to the oven/timer controls being behind the range top, you can't work it if you have food cooking on the top of the stove without getting some very hot arms. So, turn on the oven and timer first and use the "Delay Start" if needed. Or turn off the burners while you set the oven and or timer. It takes a bit to preheat and the range makes popping noises (normal from what the book said). Advantages: Love the bisque color. It has two large burners in front. All 5 burners are different. One small, one medium, one large, one large with instant boil, and the oval burner for my griddle. This range burns much higher than my old one. The control knobs are opposite of my old range. I love the heavy duty grates on top of the stove. I can just move pots from one burner to the other without having to pick up the pot. The oven cooks very evenly. I never broiled in my old gas range; I broiled the best ground chuck steaks I have ever had. I appreciate the book educating me on have the racks in the proper positions depending on what is being cooked in the oven. I typed it up, along with a couple of other helpful tidbits, and taped it inside the cabinet above my range, for quick review. Everything I have cooked in the oven has turned out wonderful. This range took some getting used to, especially since it was different than my old one. After having this range for a few weeks, I can tell you that I LOVE THIS RANGE. I am very happy with this range and I am recommending it highly. Just be sure to get your highlighter and go through the books to learn to use it properly. The book taught this old lady some new tricks. Happy cooking!

Bad Paint Adhesion

We purchased this oven on 12/5/21. After turning it on we noticed that flakes of paint were inside the oven every time we opened the door. The paint underneath the manifold cover and on the side is flaking off. Contacted Whirlpool and a new manifold cover will be ordered but may take 3-5 months. So now everytime I want to use the oven I have to make sure only "covered" products are placed in it. We purchased a complete new set of appliances, Refrigerator, Microwave, Dishwasher and this stove after we purchased our house in September 2021. Disappointed in the quality control for this item.

Great stove top but problems with the oven!

The oven doesn't keep its heat through the baking process. I like the way it heats up to the required temp by showing the temperature as it preheats (from 200degrees, 250 degrees, etc until it gets to the temp that I set. The preheating process is good, but while the food is baking, the heat doesn't cycle on enough to maintain the required temperature, resulting in undercooked food. I would like customer service to contact me to discuss.

Bought it new about 3 months ago and most features have been used heavily. It's performed quite well. One design enhancement I would like would be to show both the clock and the oven temperature in the display while the oven is operating. It only shows the temperature during oven operation.

Tedious to clean

We purchased this range, sight-unseen, from local dealer to be able to have it serviced if needed. Last range, different brand, purchased from Lowes, but they don't service and local dealer only services what he sells. Have not tried the broil feature yet, but drawer is useful for storage. Sealed burners? Don't think so. I like that the grates cover the whole top, so am able to use large cookware. Better design would make more grates so they aren't so large and dependent on removing one to remove the others. Knobs also differ from usual; left and right knobs "flip" for front/back burners; confusing.

The low stting on the burners was way too high. No instructions provided to correct this, either in manual or at the Whirlpool website. I had to search online to find the method of adjustment. The oven makes LOUD banging noises when it is on. These seem to be subsiding with time. Overall I like the stove and love the single level grate. Very functional.

I purchased this range a month ago and I'm very pleased with the cooking features. The top eyes heat up very good. One of the front eyes could be lowered to burn less hot, but they heat up very quickly. My one disappointment is the color. The picture shows the biscuit color to be between white and beige, but the color is more white. I thought they had sent me the wrong color until I pulled the white one up on the computer and it was very white. Non the less, I would have liked the color the picture shows. It would have matched my counter tops better.

I bought this a month ago and has not worked properly since day 1. Broiler doesn™€™t work and oven doesn™€™t work right. Service people are ordering two boards and valve. I wouldn™€™t recommend this range to anyone and will not buy another whirlpool product. I am very disappointed in this range.

Your service guy has not come back and stove down

Your service guy came on Saturday and advised me the stove needed a gas valve, He said he would order it and come back asap, since then I have heard nothing, We as him if it could be done by this weekend as it was father's day weekend, he said for sure it would, Thanks to Whirlpool not looking like that's not going to happen, unless I go out and purchase another stove, please call me at 646-879-3949 and advise

Matched my old stove

I bought this off the website so I could match my other appliances. No one has This color and they don™€™t seem to want to help you. Anyway their lose, I found this online and ordered it. Arrived on time like it was promised, very polite delivery service and I had it hooked up that night. Thank you Whirlpool for keeping this color available.

Got this about a month ago. Still learning how to use all the features, but I really like it. And I appreciate the fact that it's available in bisque. The only name brand appliance line that has that. Only drawback was that the factory settings on burners were a little high, and the oven was colder than what it said on the display. However, it was an easy adjustment to remedy the problem.

Love all features still available in BISQUE

I bought this range last month and have been overall very pleased with all function. Love the style the look and the oven capacity with self-cleaning option. I have only one function problem. I wish that the two front burners were not both power burners. I would have much preferred to have one of them a middle flame for sautÃing and smaller pots. I have one design suggestion. I would prefer the top grids to have a smooth finish.
